Geoff Harris is an amateur archaeologist whose primary interest is in the Mesolithic, Neolithic and Bronze Age periods.
His interest stemmed from over 20 years ago when he found that his home and surrounding land was revealing large volumes of worked flint. With a scientific and chartered engineering background, Geoff now uses state-of-the-art technologies to enhance field work discoveries.
Professionally, Geoff has provided specialist cyber security consulting services for the last 25+ years. After receiving training at GCHQ, he provided services to UK central government and leading global organisations. Geoff is currently the Chief Information Security Officer for one of the world’s largest event companies.
He believes archaeology provides a fascinating and worthwhile distraction from cyber!
