I wanted to bring you all up to speed about some recent developments in TAG.
The Management Committee lies at its heart, responsible for its day-to-day operation and strategic development. We have been expanding the number of people involved, so the committee currently consists of Dr Jan Harding (Chair), Tony Hunt (Treasurer), Geoff Harris (Secretary), Dr Geoff Nunn, Clare Lindley, Dr Emma Watson, Prof Chris Scarre, Nova Lee, and Dick Lonsdale (honorary member). Six of these members live local to Thornborough.
We have also recruited Advisors, or people well-placed to help the organization deliver and grow. They currently consist of Dr Richard Lee, Dr Jon Kenny, Dave Fell, and Dr Rose Ferraby. All are highly experienced archaeologists, with a deeply impressive wealth of knowledge and understanding behind them.
Very soon we hope to expand the number of Advisors by recruiting non-archaeologists, and especially individuals with experience of legal matters, school education, the not-for-profit grant sector, social media, and current-day worship at the monuments. So please look out for a post about this in the not too distant future, for we will be looking for volunteers!
Over coming months we will post short biographies of all of the above people so you can get to better know the team.
