Last week I was lucky enough to attend ‘Thornborough Henges: Reunited’, a celebratory get-together organised by English Heritage to mark the opening of the northern henge.
It was a splendid occasion.
Thornborough looked fantastic in the sunshine and it was lovely to catch-up with so many people. We were joined by members of the contemporary worshipper community, who were kind enough to accompany us on our tour, replete with banners and music. The day ended with an emotional blessing within the southern henge. English Heritage have produced a photo gallery of the occasion, which I share below. Thank you.
