Dr. Jennifer Wexler joins the TAG team

It gives me the very greatest pleasure to announce that Dr. Jennifer Wexler has joined the TAG team as an Advisor. She is a highly experienced archaeologist, with a tremendous interest in Thornborough and the area’s other prehistory. Indeed, its archaeology is directly integral to her professional role within English Heritage.

Jennifer is the Curator of Prehistoric Sites for English Heritage. Her background is in researching prehistoric landscapes in Britain and the Mediterranean, having received a doctorate for her research on megalithic monuments and prehistoric tombs within their spatial setting. She is a former Project Curator on the Grave Goods Project and ‘World of Stonehenge’ Exhibition at the British Museum. Her research interests include archaeological and mortuary landscapes, digital heritage, forgotten histories, and the public presentation of archaeology.

I have no doubt that Jennifer will make an important and exciting contribution to promoting and researching the region’s internationally significant prehistory in the years to come.
