As many of you know, TAG’s next fieldwork event is the ‘Return to Windmill House’ on 23rd and 24th August. We will expand two of the test-pits dug during our earlier ‘taster event’, and hopefully, excavate some prehistoric features.
We are committed to providing community-centred fieldwork free-of-charge, but these events cost money to run. Especially since we are a relatively new organisation lacking the necessary gear.
We are therefore launching a new Crowdfunder campaign to help purchase essential excavation equipment like trowels, buckets, and brushes needed for our ‘Return to Windmill House’ and other subsequent field projects.
Please donate if you are able and willing, even if its a pound or two. Our previous fieldwork was only possible because of people’s generous donations, and we hope that by repeating this success we can build an inventory of equipment for future use.
