TAG’s Management Committee would like to wish everyone a very happy New Year! May the year ahead bring you, and your loved ones, both health and happiness. We certainly intend to play our part in delivering an exciting and rewarding 2026. Scheduled Monument Consent allowing, we hope to start the year with fieldwalking and geophysical prospection at Sinderby henge, with excavation perhaps following in the autumn. The Windmill House Project will return in the early summer with the continuation and expansion of last year’s excavation, and we have also been discussing one or two other volunteer opportunities for research elsewhere. Planning for our archaeoastronomy ‘citizen science’ project will continue, and we will be launching a number of other initiatives, including a fieldtrip, regular newsletter, an annual gazetteer of new archaeological discoveries, our very own research report series, and an expanding range of merchandise. Finally, much more archaeological information will be added to our website, and we hope to expand the format and appeal of our CBA Festival of Archaeology event in July. So, there is plenty to keep us all busy, and, as always, we greatly appreciate your participation and support. You are brilliant! Thank you. (Jan Harding)
