We thought you may appreciate hearing about some of our forthcoming events. So you can pop them in your diaries. The first of these is a day of fieldwalking on Sunday 22nd March, at a location not too far from the Hutton Moor and Cana Barn henges. This is now open to volunteers, so if you are interested in attending please contact us via the website at the link below. Then on Saturday 2nd May we are running a fieldtrip, when you will have the opportunity to visit the Devil’s Arrows and some of the other henges, whilst on Sunday 3rd May and Monday 4th May we return to Windmill House to resume our excavations. Please don’t contact us yet about participating in these two events, but rather await further information. You will have to purchase a modestly priced ticket to attend the fieldtrip, but participating in the excavation will be free. In addition, we are very excited to announce that we will be undertaking a geophysical survey and earthwork survey of the Sinderby henge over the next month or so. When depends on the weather, and we are also uncertain as to whether there will be spaces for volunteers. Rest assured we will be in-touch as soon as we know. Thank you and best wishes. (Jan Harding)
