Thornborough Archaeology Group

This coming Saturday we are hosting our ‘gateway’ event in West Tanfield Memorial Hall. Those attending will get to hear an introductory talk about Thornborough’s prehistory by Dr. Jan Harding, who has worked extensively here, a Q&A, and have an opportunity to handle an impressive range of artefacts. This will be followed by an informative tour of the central and northern henges, led by our experts. The event is the perfect opportunity to find out more about why Thornborough’s prehistoric landscape is regionally, nationally, and internationally significant, so please do come along.
