University of York

It gives me the very greatest pleasure to announce I’ve been made an Honorary Research Associate in the Department of Archaeology, University of York. It is our hope that this will help TAG’s development, ushering in a partnership between ourselves and York from which we will both benefit.

I will work especially closely with academic and field archaeologist Dr. Jim Leary, and, of course, my fellow Management Committee member, Dr Richard Lee, who is a member of staff there, working for the Archaeology Data Service. We are already talking to some of York’s students about them assisting us with the development of a GIS model that will help us greatly in both outreach and research– please watch out for updates over the coming months.
